My name is Lydia and I started Bay Tree Tutoring to encourage and inspire learners to reach their full potential.

Previous to setting up my tutoring service I gained 6 years experience as a Teaching Assistant and have supported learners of all abilities.  I have planned and delivered interventions in reading, phonics, spelling and mathematics, teaching 1;1, small groups and whole class sessions.

In 2020 I completed a Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning, this has been subsequently topped up with a BA hons in Professional Practice.  I aim to constantly challenge and deepen my knowledge and following my written assignments on dyslexia and dyscalculia aim to gain specific qualifications* in SpLD’s to support my knowledge.
